No longer getting IPv6 address after Xfinity work in my neighborhood. I had a well working setup with IPv4 and IPv6. But there was some big work in my neighborhood today (got email about service interruption and saw several crews working on the street), and now that the work is completed, I now longer get an IPv6 address assigned.

For the most part, modems don't care about IPv4/IPv6. It's the router that needs to support it. I used to have a Zoom 5341J, and IPv6 worked on it. Comcast does use IP to access the modem for checking and updates and configuration. That may be v4 or v6, depending on the model, but is not relevant to the end user.
