Being able to recycle and re-use items, where possible is much better than just burying it in a landfill somewhere. The folks at the Center are very helpful., The Staff at WLSSD’s Materials Recovery Center (MRC) had quite a surprise the Saturday after Christmas. A hand grenade was left for disposal at the facility! It was wrapped in bubble wrap and found inside a metal tin in the mixed waste area. It is believed to have been left for disposal only, not with intent for harm.
