Onn tv keeps going to home screen

Hisense u8g keeps going back to home screen. Not sure if anyone has had this issue but over the last week my TV (~2 months old) keeps exiting out of Netflix/Hulu/etc and going back to the home screen. It's fairly frequent now and is really quite bothering, wondering if my unit became defective somehow and if I should RMA it.
