The only thing that is problematic with the Vulcan 800's are the blinker fluid reservoirs. I can't seem to find where it is on mine and I'm worried that one day my blinkers are gonna stop blinking!! The 95 and 96 models had a higher 1st and 2nd gear ratio than all others I believe. This is why the 95-96 models have a 16/46 sprocket and chain set were all others have a 17/42 set., Then buy a beater real cheap. A lot of extras, windshield, custom seat, crash bars, etc don't usually raise the price of a used bike near as much as buying one and then buying all those things separately. Patience is key.
