Piston guns running subsonic unsuppressed is really a crapshoot, and can vary depending on load. The most finicky subs I have (S&B) only run unsuppressed on one of my 300's that's already overgassed. Piston guns run cleaner than DI so the Jakl runs clean comparatively. Suppressed it gets about as dirty as a DI gun.Jakl upper 10.5" 5.56. Works great.
