36 weeks and 1 centimeter dilated

My friend was 4cm dilated for a week before labor and 2cm for another month before that. I was checked yesterday at 36+1 weeks and was 2cm dilated 50% effaced (same as my 35 weeks check up). . I was checked at 34 weeks because I had some pelvic pressure and I wasn’t dilated at all!!
